Celebrating Success ..... . Luphelo, Portia, Ayabonga and Mangaliso have successfully completed their Grade 12 studies and can now start Tertiary Education…. We are delighted for them and proud of all they have achieved . They each received R400 as a gift to celebrate their success. Each has worked hard during the restrictions the Covid 19 Pandemic has brought …. They have persisted, been diligent and worked hard … Success has come . 
This  Luphelo, He successfully competed and passed his grade 12 education. He is now a registered student at the  Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University  studying Mechanical Engineering. 
This is Ayabonga, He also successfully completed his Grade 12 education and is studying at college to become a Chef. 
This is Mangaliso, She has successfully completed her Grade 12 education and has commenced Tertiary education to study as a primary school teacher. 
Portia has successfully competed and passed her Grade 12 education. She will begin tertiary education to become a social Worker. We gave each R400 rand to each of of young people who completed and passed their Grade 12 Education. 

 

Likhona Mletshe has been supported by Julian’s’  Children for 6 years. Likhona is active and energetic and likes to play outside her home and sing with her friends. She is 12 years of age and studying for Grade 6. Likhona loves with her Mother and her Aunt. Due to the Pandemic Likhona’s mother hasn’t been able to work, they receive R450 approx £23 per month from Likhona’s child support grant. Being supported by Julian’s Children, has been a life line for this family during the current pandemic. They say Nkosi … Thank you … 

Likhona loves to study Math’s, she likes helping people and understanding how things work.  She goes to Church with her family, when she comes in from school, She cleans the toilet, washes the dishes, is sent to the local shop to buy vegetable and small things, she does her homework and then goes to play with her friends. 

The Soup Cells are continuing to run daily and have done throughout the Covid 19 Pandemic. All Covid restrictions have been observed. The GoGo’s continue to pray for their families and their communities, they make soup and feed very vulnerable person’s in the communities and bring HOPE… Psalm 23
